Exhibitions

Forthcoming exhibitions:

Tony’s Forest is due to appear at the following shows.  Some of these are provisional and subject to confirmation.  Details will be loaded as they become available.  I get quite a few enquiries at shows but sometimes the follow-up is delayed and there have been a couple of instances where I have had to decline invitations due to conflicting arrangements like holidays.

Both Dyffryn and Abergwesyn attended quite a few shows but I didn’t keep a record of them!

In a long overdue tidy up I found some old information from which I have been able to construct the following list of exhibitions for Dyffryn.  It is the best I can do and is not necessarily complete.

Bristol (Wales & West of England), May 1992
Fareham, April 1992
Kidderminster, March 1992
Merchant Taylors (Crosby, Liverpool), February 1992
Bristol (Brunel), November 1991
Cheltenham (GWR), October 1991
Aylesbury (Previous year’s best in show invited back but already booked for another show in 1990), October 1991
Thornbury, September 1991
Slough, March 1991
Expo’NG, Greenwich, November 1990
Blackburn, October 1990
Evesham, September 1990
Chatham, June 1990
Gloucester, October 1989
Aylesbury – (Best in Show), October 1989
Weston-Super-Mare, June 1989
Warrington, September 1988
Hardwick (South Gloucester), April 1988
Farnham, October 1987
Toothill (South Swindon), – Best in Show September 1987
GOG Trade Show at Gloucester, April 1987
Swindon, November 1986
Bridgend, September 1986
7mm NGA AGM at Derby, June 1986
Abingdon, March 1986
Gloucester, October 1985
Warrington, September 1980
Stand (North Manchester), November 1977
Warrington, September 1977

All of the Abergwesyn shows were in the North West of England as that was where we lived and before we passed driving tests we relied on the good will of Warrington Model Railway Club members for transport.
